Vehicle Mechanic

Job Description:

Review and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to complete repairs or modifications.
Measure, cut, and prepare materials using hand tools and power equipment.
Assemble and secure vehicle components with bolts, clamps, and other fastening methods.
Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance with standards.
Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and engineers regarding progress, challenges, or changes.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required; additional training in vehicle maintenance or mechanics preferred.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience working with heavy trucks (FMTV or equivalent).
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
