Role SummaryWill be required to perform preventative and reactive maintenance on facility equipment, systems, and grounds, including basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs. You’ll conduct routine inspections of fire safety systems and facilities, coordinate vendor work, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. This position is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who takes initiative and values a safe, efficient work environment. Education and Job Requirements
* A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* A minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience OR 2 years, post-secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience.
* Must be capable of developing job knowledge/skills.
* Experience with basic troubleshooting/repairs on Electrical, Plumbing, walls, and floors.
* Ability to utilize ladders and lifts.
* Possess an understanding of applicable health and safety regulations and industrial standards and practices such as NFPA, DOT, ANSI, OSHA, etc.
* Proficient in computer skills and MS Office. Preferred Skills
* Experience with using a facility and equipment CMMS (e.g., Faciliworks), OSHA, NFPA, EPA, and/or other related education or professional credentials a plus.
* HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical certifications are a plus. Job Duties/Functions
* Provide Preventive & Reactive maintenance on facilities, equipment, and grounds.
* Limited Preventive & Reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
* Routine Inspections of Fire Safety Systems.
* Routing Inspections of Facility and Grounds.
* Basic Carpentry and maintenance of the facilitys physical structure.
* Coordinating with vendors on contracted work.
