ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
  • To assure SITAs competitive strength and business growth globally.
  • Perform all Service Operations activities according to SITA standards and procedures.
  • Maximizing customer satisfaction by the delivery of first-class support activities and integrating well in a multicultural, fast paced, international organization.
  • To manage and assist the Service Operations team.
WHAT YOULL DO
  • Provide L3 support for network-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving complex network problems.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability of network systems.
  • Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Implement and manage network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and threats.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Perform network upgrades and patches to ensure the latest security and performance enhancements are in place.
  • Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and compliance purposes.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and support staff.

Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE

MUST TO HAVE

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in network administration and support, with a focus on L2 and L3 support.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
  • Experience with network security technologies such as VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and NAC.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, PaloAlto & Fortinet.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • At least one of relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP
  • Paloatlo Professional Network Security Professional is a must

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Expert knowlege and hands on experience in security networking ( Cisco ASA, Paloalto, Fortinet )
  • Experience in Legacy and SDWAN
  • Experience in cloud networking and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as DX NetOPS, Nagios, NGOSS .. etc
  • Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages such as Python or Ansible is a great plus

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Computer Science Electronic Engineering or equivalent Telecommunications in country qualification applicable vendor / technology expert level certification or equivalent work experience- Recognized industry certifications such as MCSE MCSM MCITP MCM RHCE CCIE (for Network) IBM Expert- ITIL Foundation Certificate
