Ramp Process Improvement Supervisor
Job Description:

Tasks

  • Monitor daily ramp ops, ensuring schedules & performance targets are met
  • Initiate + manage corrective actions to prevent service degradation + secure punctuality
  • Troubleshoot + act swiftly in complex situations, ensuring transparent two-way communication across all layers of staff
  • Guarantee continuity during IRREG Ops
  • Perform quality control checks based on safety & Ops procedures
  • Gather and follow up on service-level data
  • Represent Brussels Airlines in meetings with handling partners, reinforcing strong partnerships
  • Draft detailed, impartial reports on irregularities and propose process improvements.
  • Observe, initiate, and follow up improvement opportunities, setting priorities and deploying action plans
  • Coach external counterparts to ensure consistent quality across all ramp-related processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory airline operations role.
  • Fluent in English, Dutch, and French.
  • Profound knowledge of airport working practices, operational process flows, aircraft loading regulations, and weight & balance.
  • Valid driving license (B).
  • Knowledge of Altea FM and CM.
  • Familiarity with Brussels Airport BRS system.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Stress-resistant, quick-thinking, and solution-oriented.
  • Open, friendly, and guest-dedicated mindset.
