Product Manager – SITA at Borders
ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
We’re looking for a Product Manager to help shape and scale innovative digital products across our portfolio, with a strong focus on the practical application of AI and intelligent automation in complex, mission‑critical environments.
This role is ideal for a Product Manager who is excited about using AI‑enabled tools to accelerate discovery, decision‑making, and product delivery and who can translate emerging technologies into real customer and business outcomes.
You will join at a formative stage of product evolution, contributing to product vision, strategy, and roadmap definition, while working closely with internal teams and selected customers to validate concepts and prioritize high‑impact opportunities. The scope spans multiple domains, emphasizing scalability, usability, security, and measurable value.
You’ll be part of a cross‑functional portfolio covering product management, solution definition, and technology, working in close partnership with colleagues across engineering, architecture, data, UX, and delivery. This collaborative setup ensures strong alignment between customer needs, solution design, and technical execution.
You’ll be part of a broader Product Management community and report to a Senior Product Manager. Day to day, you’ll collaborate with Product Owners, architects, engineers, data specialists, UX designers, and commercial teams. Together, you’ll ensure customers’ needs, technology opportunities, and business priorities remain tightly aligned.
This role offers the opportunity to lead with curiosity, apply AI pragmatically, and influences how next‑generation digital products are conceived, built, and evolved.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead product discovery activities to identify customer problems, opportunities, and value levers, leveraging AI‑enabled tools to accelerate research, analysis, and synthesis
- Define and clearly articulate product vision, strategy, and outcomes, ensuring alignment with portfolio and business objectives
- Translate complex customer, operational, and regulatory needs into prioritized product requirements and roadmaps
- Work closely with Product Owners and technical teams to drive agile planning, prioritization, and delivery
- Apply AI practically across the product lifecycle including spanet analysis, requirements exploration, prototyping support, documentation, and decision support
- Build business cases and investment rationales, supported by data, spanet insight, and clear value propositions
- Partner with Product Marketing and Commercial teams to shape go‑to‑spanet narratives, positioning, and customer messaging
- Support sales and bid teams during major pursuits, tenders, and customer engagements as a product subject‑matter expert
- Define and track product success metrics, including customer adoption, business impact, and strategic contribution
- Continuously assess spanet trends, emerging technologies (particularly AI), and policy or regulatory changes to inform roadmap evolution
- Engage with a global network of internal and external stakeholders, incorporating feedback and real‑world insight into continuous improvement
Qualifications
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Domain knowledge or prior exposure to border management, travel technology, identity, or biometric solutions
- Experience working on platform‑based products or complex, distributed systems
- Background in regulated industries (e.g. government, transportation, security, critical infrastructure), with an appreciation for compliance, policy, and risk considerations
- A genuine curiosity and interest in travel, border, and identity technologies, and how they shape end‑to‑end user journeys
- Experience contributing to or leading successful B2B2C/B2G2C product launches, balancing the needs of enterprise customers with strong end‑user experience
- Experience collaborating closely with UX designers or applying UX and usability principles in product discovery
- Ability to create lightweight personal prototypes or concepts (using low‑code, no‑code, or AI‑assisted tools) to support early validation
