How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) This individual will manage and assist with the review of federal and multi-state income tax returns for Delta and its subsidiaries, including the calculation of book tax differences, tax depreciation, deferreds, state adjustments, and state apportionment. This individual will manage federal estimated payments and lead the cash tax planning process. The individual will also support other areas of income tax including assisting with audits, provision, research and documentation, process automation and other special projects.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Minimum 5 years of corporate income tax experienceAble to perform federal and state tax research and document conclusions. Should be a self starter with strong analytical skills, close attention to detail, effective verbal and written communication, and the ability to balance multiple assignments under strict deadlines with limited supervision.The ability to work effectively in a team environment is required. Must be performing satisfactorily in current position, if internalConsistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications) Bachelors or Master’s degeeExperience with Corptax tax compliance software is a plus. Big 4 Consultancy and/or enterprise tax experience is highly preferredCPA preferred
