Job Title: Quality InspectorJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector/CMM Operator for our 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm, with occasional Saturdays as needed. This role is vital for the operation of CMM inspection programs within the Quality Department. The successful candidate will ensure procedures are followed, address quality-related issues, generate reports, track data, and recommend process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and run CMM programs to verify machined parts meet engineering requirements.
- Perform inspections using both CMM and bench methods as necessary.
- Review job-related materials and process documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Complete AS9102 first article inspection reports using CMM results in Net Inspect.
- Collaborate with all departments to enhance product quality.
- Assist production in translating inspection results.
- Maintain cleanliness of CMM and CMM room.
- Perform additional duties as directed by quality manager and vice president.
- Manage documentation and control of non-conformance products when required.
- Perform other related duties as necessary.
Essential Skills- Three to five years of experience operating CMMs and proficiency with PCDMIS software.
- Experience in blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to conduct inspections ensuring parts are within required tolerances.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- CMM operation and/or machine shop inspection training.
- Blueprint reading and interpretation training.
- Experience in GD&T.
- Creation of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
- Training in Rockwell hardness and conductivity testing.
- Experience with FAI and the PMC’s NCR system.
- Programming experience is preferred but not required.

Work Environment
The work environment is primarily within a manufacturing setting, where the employee may encounter exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
