Job Description

This role supports a busy repair station at Lehigh Valley Airport, performing heavy maintenance, inspections, and repairs on corporate jet aircraft, with a strong focus on Gulfstream models. You will work on a variety of airframes and engines, ensuring aircraft are maintained to the highest safety and quality standards across either a first-shift or second-shift schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Perform heavy maintenance, inspections, and overhauls on corporate jet aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
  • Conduct detailed phase inspections and scheduled maintenance on airframes, engines, and related systems to ensure airworthiness.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft mechanical and structural issues, documenting all findings and corrective actions accurately.
  • Carry out airframe and aircraft repairs using approved methods, tools, and materials, ensuring compliance with maintenance manuals and technical data.
  • Work extensively on Gulfstream aircraft within a repair station environment, with a focus on models such as G400, G500, and G600, as well as other Gulfstream variants when required.
  • Support maintenance activities on other corporate jets, including Falcon, Learjet, HondaJet, Hawker, Cessna, and Challenger aircraft, as needed.
  • Use personal tools and shop equipment safely and effectively to complete maintenance and repair tasks on time and to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and departments to plan, prioritize, and complete work orders efficiently while meeting operational deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation for all work performed to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
  • Participate in overtime as needed to support operational demands and ensure timely completion of aircraft maintenance projects.

Essential Skills

  • Active Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience performing heavy maintenance on aircraft.
  • Proven experience with aircraft maintenance, inspections, overhauls, and repairs in a repair station or MRO environment.
  • Experience working on corporate jets, preferably Gulfstream, Falcon, Learjet, HondaJet, Hawker, Cessna, and Challenger aircraft.
  • Hands-on experience with Gulfstream aircraft, with preference for models such as G400, G500, and G600.
  • Strong experience in airframe and aircraft repair, including phase maintenance and structural work.
  • Ability to interpret and apply technical data, maintenance manuals, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ownership and regular use of personal tools suitable for A&P maintenance work.
  • Willingness and availability to work overtime as operational needs require.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with a broad range of Gulfstream models, including G450, G550, G700, G400, G500, G650, G600, and G280.
  • Experience working on HondaJet and various Cessna and Challenger jet models.
  • Previous experience in a corporate MRO or Gulfstream-focused repair station environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship and safety.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced maintenance environment and manage multiple tasks.

Work Environment

This position is based at a repair station located at Lehigh Valley Airport, working on corporate jet aircraft in a hangar environment. The facility supports both first shift (approximately 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, 5x8 schedule) and second shift (approximately 2:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Tuesday through Friday, 4x10 schedule), providing structured hours with opportunities for overtime. You will work with a variety of maintenance tools and equipment, including your own personal tools, on Gulfstream and other corporate jet platforms. The environment is hands-on, technical, and safety-focused, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, precision, and adherence to maintenance and inspection standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $55.00/hr.
