We are seeking customer focused Field Service Technicians to support a residential energy efficiency program delivered in partnership with a local electric utility. In this role, you’ll install energy saving products in customers’ homes, educate residents on reducing energy use, and help qualify households for additional free efficiency services.
This is a highly active, people oriented role ideal for candidates who enjoy hands on work, travel, and making a positive impact. The contract may be extended up to 24 months, offering stability and growth potential.
What You’ll DoField Installation & Customer ServiceInstall energy efficient products in residential homes, including:
LED light bulbs
Low flow water aerators & showerheads
Hot water tank insulation jackets
Pipe insulation
Door & window weatherstripping
Other approved energy saving measures
Educate customers on reducing electrical consumption and saving money
Qualify homes for additional free efficiency services when applicable
Documentation, Safety & TravelAccurately document all installations and measures
Report quality results to the Field Supervisor
Identify and document safety concerns to management
Safely drive work trucks/box vans between homes, offices, and hotels
Participate in neighborhood kickoff and outreach events
Travel 90–100 throughout South Carolina (vehicle provided)
What We’re Looking ForRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to pass:
Ability to work inside customer homes
Reliable transportation to and from work
Willingness to travel overnight regularly
Preferred BackgroundsSales or customer service
HVAC or energy efficiency programs
Construction, cable/satellite, alarm installation, or related trades
Spanish speaking skills (a plus, not required)

Detail oriented and organized
Safety minded with strong ethics and accountability
Ability to work with a partner and with minimal supervision

Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
