Job Title: A&P Mechanic
Job Description
This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of general aviation aircraft in a clean, climate-controlled, first-shift environment, Monday through Friday. The A&P Mechanic inspects, repairs, and modifies aircraft structures and components, maintains and repairs aircraft systems, determines equipment malfunctions, interprets technical documentation, and restores aircraft to safe and airworthy condition in accordance with FAA regulations and industry standards. The position focuses on general aviation aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all assigned aircraft are maintained in an airworthy condition at all times.
- Perform comprehensive annual aircraft inspections and document all areas requiring maintenance or repair.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance in accordance with work instructions, industry standards, and applicable FAA regulations.
- Maintain and repair aircraft components, including assembling and installing flight controls, engines, pneumatic systems, fuel systems, electrical systems, plumbing, mechanical and hydraulic systems, and related mechanical components and accessories.
- Repair and modify aircraft structures and structural components, including airframes and associated assemblies.
Essential Skills
- Two to three years of general aviation aircraft mechanic experience preferred.
- FAA Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) license
Work Environment
The role is based in a large maintenance hangar within a fixed-base operator facility at the South St. Paul Airport. The shop is clean, well-organized, and climate controlled, providing a comfortable work environment throughout the year. The position follows a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, typically from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., offering consistent daytime hours and minimal weekend requirements.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $98000.00/yr.
Very clean shop, with a small crew. Lots of hands on training, and opportunity to move up.
Good insurance, benefits.
Pay range $28-46/hr.
Potential for sign on or relocation.
