JOB SUMMARY:
Textron Aviation Parts Distribution is looking for an intern to use and develop their Customer Relations and organizational skills through support of our ProAdvantage team. Learn the skills necessary to support Afterspanet Customer Experience, including warranty & programs administration, parts sales support and account management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learn to assist in identifying and coordinating the major maintenance events required for Programmed engines and APUs.
Support the efforts to identify most cost effective and efficient approach for fulfilling required maintenance activities and the customers expectations.
Develop an understanding of ProAdvantage programs, including claims management and negotiation of disputed items to an equitable settlement consistent with Textron Aviation policy and customer service objectives.
Work with different capabilities within the organization to enrich customer experience.
Learn how to properly maintain files, customer documents, and afterspanet program contracts.
Participates in and tracks assigned projects within ProAdvantage team.
Through various support projects, develop an understanding of ProAdvantage policies and practices.
Identify ways to support Customer desired solutions in accordance with the Customers requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in:
Business Administration
Aviation Management
Supply Chain
Or other related field
QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organized and action oriented
Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
Collaborates and easily gets along in team-based environments
Strong customer-oriented skills
Excellent organizational skills
Computer Proficiency (MS Office, CAD, etc.)
Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.
Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks.
Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
