As part of a team of various specialties, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance and support of 3DX / CATIA systems. This role requires a highly organized individual with strong technical skills, problem-solving capabilities and an in-depth knowledge of 3DX / CATIA applications.
In this position you will work to increase the speed and efficiency of the program by supporting the timely delivery, quality and transparency of data to support the program.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Configure and maintain CATIA / 3DXX related applications.
•Provide technical support and troubleshooting to users.
•SharePoint data management, permissions, site content creation and other needs from the Program.
•Manage user groups, routing and licensing for the Program.
•Ensure optimal performance of the applications and system through regular maintenance and performance improvements.
•Develop and implement procedures for data and configuration management through 3DX / CATIA.
•Utilize and maintain model trees to ensure proper organization and accessibility of design data
•Establish and maintain links and publications to create a connected and consistent design environment
•Collaborate with the various Program IPTs, leadership and IT support.
•Train and support users on functionalities and best practices.
•Document system configurations and processes.
Minimum Qualifications
•BA/BS Degree in related field.
•Minimum of 3 year experience in a PLM tool, 3DX / CATIA preferred.
•Experience in the technology, DoD or Aerospace field.
•Proficient in creating, editing and analyzing data in 3DX / CATIA
•Excellent problem solving skills.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Strong communication skills.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, and typically 2+ years of relevant experience
- A higher level degree may substitute for experience
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Fundamental MS Office Skills
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Demonstrated ownership of tasks, organization skills and attention to detail
- Possess strong communication and client-facing, teamwork skills
- Minimum of 3 year experience in a PLM tool, 3DX / CATIA preferred.
- Experience in the technology, DoD or Aerospace field.
- Proficient in creating, editing and analyzing data in 3DX / CATIA

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Development of proposals to include administrative tasks as assigned
- Data entry into PM Systems
- Collaborating with internal Leadership, vendors, suppliers, other stakeholders, and internal teams, such as IPT leads, CAMs, Tech Leads and PA’s to ensure program activities will accomplish objectives
- Conflict resolution especially those related to resource assignments
- Monitoring project progress against baseline schedule and facilitating process improvement initiatives
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
- Knowledge of industry-standard mechanical design principles, to include, but not limited to, model-based definition, material hardware selection, manufacturing, and production processes
- Direct program experience managing aircraft configuration using Catia V6 and 3DExperience
- Experience managing subsystem/component interfaces using relational design and lifecycle management techniques
