Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for an Entry Level Quality Systems Specialist to join our team in Miami, FL.
Position Responsibilities:
Team with Global co-workers to ensure that new product requests are completed in a timely fashion.
Evaluate new requests to ensure proper documentation is received and adequate for Customer Quality Engineer teams. Responsible for storing these documents as appropriate.
Basic level of review of technical drawings to pass onto Customer Quality Engineer so that industry requirements, customer requirements, and company requirements are complied with and are within BDSI’s competency to support.
Review and audit system data to ensure product profiles are accurately maintained and updated as needed.
Review and action requests to answer cross functional concerns and escalated. As needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1 - 2 years of related quality work experience or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience
Drawing requirements interpretation
Working within the Quality Assurance arena
Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree – related field of study, preferred
1 year of related work experience, preferred
Experience working with aerospace commodities (preferred)
Knowledge of lean principles
Six Sigma certified
