Charter & Scheduling Specialist

Location - CXH / Coal Harbour

Reporting to: Head of Network and Revenue Management

A Charter & Scheduling Specialist coordinates and facilitates charter bookings, ensuring efficient communication with internal and external clients, and support the optimization of the Harbour Air aircraft schedule. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Communications:

  • Engage in regular phone calls, emails, and Teams messages with internal and external clients to address inquiries, confirm bookings, and provide timely updates on charter-related matters.
  • Send annual rate sheet for common destinations to Tour Operators.
  • Work closely with the Customer Care and Customer Contact teams to address charter-related customer services inquiries and issues.

Schedule Charter Flights:

  • Review aircraft schedule and book charters according to client requirements, with focus on aircraft and pilot utilization

Schedule Optimization:

  • Support commercial schedule optimization, based on inputs from Network & Revenue Management and Flight Operations team,

Month End Reconciliation:

  • Ensure all charter invoices have been paid. Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to address any discrepancies and ensure accurate financial records.


Qualifications / What you bring!

  • Bachelors Degree in Hospitality / Tourism, Aviation Management, Business Administration, or similar related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, internal teams, and external partners
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage charter bookings, communicate effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to optimize schedules for efficiency and profitability
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Network & Scheduling, Revenue Management, Customer Care, and Flight Operations.
