POSITION SUMMARY

Provide support in functional areas of Security administration. Assist Facility Security Officer with all facets of industrial security in compliance with company policies, the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) requirements and other government agencies.  Responsible for administrative security duties, such as visitor processing, badge requests, security awareness and education and briefings, and file maintenance. May be tasked with general administrative duties to involve generating reports, copying and filing.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Assist with maintenance of the badging system for employees and visitors, as well as visitor controls and processing.

  2. Assist with administration of security education and awareness, Insider Threat, OPSEC and COMSEC programs, to include maintenance of security training records.

  3. Assist with activities related to implementation of DSD’s Special Security Agreement (SSA), including preparation of SSA visit requests and receipt of contact reports.

  4. Assist with general company administrative duties.

  5. Assist with processes to: maintain security records, manage document control database for classified, conduct end of day safe checks and periodic seal checks, conduct facility security verifications, conduct periodic self-inspections, obtain and maintain Personnel Clearances (PCL), and submit outgoing visit authorizations. 

  6. Assist with ensuring all classified material is properly accounted for, controlled, transmitted, transported, packaged, safeguarded, and destroyed in accordance with the NISPOM and contractual requirements. 

  7. Front desk responsibilities to include; answer and direct calls, greet visitors, send/forward faxes, and post/sort mail.

  8. Will be responsible for the issuance and maintaining the company visitor badges.

  9. Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel in a Microsoft Windows environment.

  10. Skills in database management and record keeping.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN.  Must be able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 

Associate’s degree (A.A.) from two-year college or technical school or equivalent; and

2 years+ related experience and/or training. Bachelor’s degree from four-year College preferred. Basic understanding or security, previous experience working for a DoD Contractor and active DoD Security Clearance a plus. Must have effective customer service skills, the ability to consistently maintain a high level of accuracy and manage multiple tasks and completing priorities. Requires intermediate data entry skills

Competitive Compensation 

Pay Range: Min $26.60 to max $44.30 per hour 

 

 Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California, Massachusetts, New York, Washington. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as spanet and business considerations.
