Project Controller
169 - 290 per day
Morson are supporting one of our Defence clients in Templecombe in the recruitment of Project Controllers to support delivery of trade compliance across the business. Due to an increase in new business they require project controllers or trade compliance experts who can support projects as they are exported from the business. You will support trade compliance, data management and ITAR Restrictions using Kanban and monitoring information.
The roles are being offered on an initial 6-month basis, with possibility of extensions. They will require 3 days a week on site in Templecombe plus 2 days remote working. We can pay a rate of 169.53 per day PAYE or 290 per day Umbrella inside IR35.
Responsibilities
- Use the delivery dashboard to monitor status hazards, work for the PM’s to resolve.
- Review sales orders and make sure all required artifacts, like CECC / iCECC, MSNs and NATO Stock Numbers are in place.
- Work with the internal delivery team (war room) and trade compliance team to make sure requirements are understood.
- Ensure customer-specific flow downs are in place.
- Ensure that project-specific requirements are in place.
- Identify special purpose packaging and land, sea & air transit requirements are understood.
- Keep a contestant monitor of the backlog, look for opportunities where appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with legal & export control regulations.
Requirements
- Project controller experience in a delivery environment OR a trade compliance expert.
- Data maintenance experience.
- Product export control experience
- Aware of ITAR Restrictions processes.
- Able to use Kanban or similar systems that monitor project information.
Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance
